Farm for the future is the large 651 acre farm in Kilolo District. It is a regional development project run in cooperation with local authorities in the Iringa Region of Tanzania. The key focus is to deliver a commercially driven viable farm which will also provide vocational training in agriculture for youth local farmers and young single mothers to support the sustainability of growth of the farm into the future jobs will be created through food processing and opportunities that present themselves as the farm develops

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

i/ Bachelor degree or masters in Agriculture

Ii/excellent computer applications skills

iii/ class C driving license

iv/ 5 years’ experience in farm management with a documented track record of results achieved

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

- Male/female with management experience

- Basic knowledge of managing farm finance

- Knowledge and experience with farming maize and other grains

- Good knowledge and experience of both dairy and beef cattle management

- Excellent people management skills with proven ability in team building

- Highly motivated self-driven with the ability to drive initiatives to achieve goals

- have a dynamic approach to identify new opportunities while adjusting existing

- Farm practice to create efficiencies in production

Ilula Orphan Program is a Christian outreach Non Government Organization, working to support Most Vulnerable Children in Tanzania.

IOP was established in 1998 and was officially registered by The Registrar of Societies in The Ministry of Home Affairs Tanzania. IOP registration number is SO. NO 12054 August 27th 2003.

IOP mission is to provide Education, Homes and Life skills to Most Vulnerable Children, Youth and Women for the purpose of making them become self reliant and responsible citizens of Tanzania.
